IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh is back with its flagship event Student Transition and Elevation Partnership (STEP) – for the very first time, on a virtual platform! The event is scheduled to take place on September 5, 2020.
IEEE STEP was developed to provide a dynamic program for facilitating the transition from Student member to young professional by introducing the opportunities and benefits of IEEE membership during the onset of a STEM career.
Since 2017, IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh has hosted STEP events with support from Global IEEE Young Professionals and IEEE Bangladesh Section. This year the IEEE STEP 2020 is being organized jointly by IEEE Bangladesh Section and IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh, in collaboration with IEEE BUET Student Branch, IEEE NSU Student Branch and IEEE AIUB Student Branch. The event is planned to be hosted virtually and with the theme: “Transition to a Sustainable Future”. The goal of the event is to prepare the students for the professional field and encourage them to join as Professional Members.
