This was an immense pleasure for us to organize an informative workshop named “Cyber Security” in accordance with IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh, IEEE Stamford University Student Branch, IEEE Stamford University WIE Affinity Group.

This workshop was a tremendous accomplishment due to the participation of 30 students including both IEEE & Non-IEEE members.The workshop was successfully conducted by Azim Uddin Chowdhury,Instructor,Network & Cyber-security Cisco Networking Academy,Department of CSE,United International University.

The main aspiration of the event was to deliver information to the students that Cyber-security is the practice of defending computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, and data from malicious attacks. It’s also known as information technology security or electronic information security.This workshop aims to discuss financial sector vulnerabilities arising from cyber threats and risks and to develop the necessary skills and tools to make the sector resilient.

The workshop turned out to be a successful and inspiring eventfor the participants.
