The IEEE-PELS AGM 2022 was attended by 61 members and presented a full house.

Mr. Vishal Anand, Chair, IEEE PELS Bangalore Chapter initiated the proceeding of the meeting by welcoming the gathering for the PELS AGM 2023. Mr. Vishal AG thanked the PELS team in 2022 for their hard work and contribution towards the chapter’s progress. Also, the MoM of AGM 2022 for IEEE PELS was presented for approval.

Dr. Deepa K, the Secretary, of IEEE PELS, presented the secretary report for 2022.

A detailed IEEE PELS Bangalore chapter Event summary was presented for 2022.

The Activities included 1- Distinguished Lecture Program, 9- Workshops, 1-Faculty Development program, 13- Technical talks, 15 -Technical Contests /Events,5- Industrial visits, 1- Alumni interaction, 3 -Membership drives, Inauguration of 1 PELS Student Branch chapter, and 2 PELS And IES Joint Chapters, 2- IEEE PELS and IES Student branch chapter meetings, 6 EXECOM meetings and concluded with an ovation to all the members who had put hands together in making IEEE PELS Bangalore section as an Outstanding Chapter. 

Mr. Vishal AG, Chair, PELS presented the financial report for the year 2022. He highlighted. The bank account details for IEEE PELS. The fund received and expenditure transaction was explained for the year 2022. IT returns submission for the year 2022.

The various student branches presented their SBC Reports.

• IEEE-PELS SBC report of Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore report was presented by Ms. Geethika Harshini, Chair of Amrita School of Engineering. ASEB conducted a total of 7 events in the year 2022 which includes 1 workshop, 3-Technical Talks/Webinars, 2- Techcontests/events, and 1- Alumni interaction.
• IEEE-PELS SBC report of NHCE, Bangalore report was presented by Ms.Rachna Palli, Chair of New Horizon College of Engineering. NHCE conducted a total of 6 events in the year 2022 which includes 1Distinguished Lecture, 1-Faculty Development Program,1- Webinar, 2-Technical contests,1-Industrial visit
• IEEE-PELS SBC report of UVCE, Bangalore report was presented by Mr.Abhay J Kulkarni, Chair of UVCE. UVCE conducted a 1- Technical talk and 1- Technical contest.
• IEEE-PELS & IES Joint Chapter SBC report of BMSCE, Bangalore report was presented by Mr. Shravan S Rao, Chair of BMS College of Engineering. BMSCE conducted a total of 14 events in the year 2022 which included 4-Workshops, 5 seminars/Technical talks,2- Techcontests, 2-Industrial visits, 1-Membership drive.
• IEEE- PELS SBC report of Vidhyavardhaka College of Engineering, Bangalore report was presented by Ms.Nithyashree, Chair of VVCE. VVCE conducted a total of 15 events in the year 2022 which includes3-Workshops, 7- Technical events, 2-Industrial visits,1-AlumniInteraction, 2-Membership drives.
• Ms. Nisha Singh, Chair of NMIT, presented the IEEE-PELS & IES Joint Chapter SBC report of Nitte Meenakshi Institute of technology. NMIT conducted a total of 5 events in the year 2022 which includes 1 workshop, 3- Seminars, and 1 -Technical event.

Recognizing the contribution of student volunteers and Execom members towards the progress of IEEE PELS Bangalore Chapter the following awards were presented, Mr. Vishal AG presented the Outstanding student branch chapter award to BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore.

 Mr.Vishal AG presented the Outstanding Ex-Officio Award of IEEE PELS Bangalore Chapter to Dr. Prema V, BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore
