In continuation of the IEEE CE society’s charter to enable new technologies for Consumer Electronics, the chapter conducted an Android-Internals workshop in August 2011, at SVCE Bangalore. Report of the workshop is available in document linked here . This is the second technical workshop the IEEE CE Bangalore chapter has conducted in this series. The earlier event, also focused on Android, was conducted at PES, Mysore. Both the events were well attended, with more than 100 overall participants. The speaker in both the sessions was Mr. Satish Patel, TI.

IEEE Technical talk on Technology Innovation In Consumer Markets

Dr Narendranath Udupa, Technology Manager, Philips Consumer Lifestyle, Bangalore, presented a 2 hour session on Technology Innovation in Consumer Markets. Dr. Udupa’s talk was held at the TI auditorium, Bangalore, and was well attended by the technical community in Bangalore.

IEEE Industry Day, 2011

The IEEE India Day was held in March 10-11, 2011. The IEEE CESoc, Bangalore Chapter participated in it with a CE Track in the event, that was kindly sponsored by the IEEE.
