Congress Chair’s Message:
It is indeed a great pleasure for me to welcome you at the 3rd episode of IEEE Bahawalpur Sub-Section Student/ Young Professional/ Women in Engineering/ Congress (BSSYWC’19), which is being held at the University College of Engineering & Technology (UCET), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan from 29th-30th March 2019. This event is hosted by IEEE (U C E T – I U B) Student branch which is approved by IEEE Bahawalpur Sub-Section ExCom in the meeting held on 6th Feb 2019.
The Bahawalpur Sub-Section Congress is a yearly event that is organized by one of the student branches of Bahawalpur Sub-Section. The 1st episode of Congress was hosted by U C E T – I U B Student branch held at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur in 2017 and the 2nd episode was held at Khawaja Farid University of Engineering & Information Technology RYK in 2018. These events were attended by delegates from more than ten Institutes of Southern Punjab.
In line with its predecessor events, the BSSYWC’19 is to provide a forum for students, engineers, female engineers, young professionals, academicians, and people from industry to meet and discuss the advancements in their respective fields. The event will also highlight the contributions of IEEE in South Punjab region and future endeavors. The event will be attended by more than 300 participants including 100 IEEE members from industry and academia.
I am truly grateful to Dr. Asjad Amin, Branch Counselor and the organizing team for their remarkable efforts in arranging this event. I also appreciate the sponsors for providing financial support to many of the events. Finally, I would like to express sincere gratitude to our Worthy Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr. Aamir Ijaz and Dean Faculty of Engineering, Engr. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad for their ever kind support and providing all necessary administrative help in managing this event successful.

IEEE Bahawalpur Subsection was formed in 2015, IEEE Bahawalpur Subsection is trying to provide students a platform to interact with other IEEE members, Graduate members and senior members, other then that we are trying to build professional and critical skills among students. IEEE Bahawalpur Subsection is hosting it’s 3rd Episode of congress named IEEE BAHAWALPUR Subsection Students / Young Professionals / Women in Engineering Congress at ISLAMIA UNIVERSITY BAHAWALPUR on 29,30th March 2019.
Congress consist of many technical, non technical events and also workshops. We are also organizing games for students, musical and cultural Night. Beside some meeting will also be held like WIE meet up, SAC meet up, counselor meet up, Subsection meet up and above all industrial academia workshop with panel discussion.
